CREATING A POSITIVE CLASSROOM CLIMATE
Well, according with this handout the teacher has a big responsability in the classroom. te teacher not only has to teach a lesson but also has the obligation of creating a good environment and a feeling of succes in the sutdents. I mean, the teacher not only works with the sutudents' mind, also the eacher works with the students' soul because the students learn better in a good environment of the classroom. So, if the teacher since the beginning create a good "Rapport" at the end of the year the students will have both a great knowledge of the subject and a nice experience of learning. I like the part that says "laughing with them not at them" it is nice because imagine! it would be hard if a teacher laughs about you in font, or with all students about you!!!

As you wrote, it's essential to have a proper level of respect, working both ways, so that the students feel a welcoming environment for learning.

no laugh with students is nice. but to laugh of them is something that should be avoided by the teacher. Because you are the teacher it does not mean that you know everything and you can laugh of your students when they make mistakes. nooooooooo you have to respect your students as you demand them respect too.
ResponderEliminarWOOOW YOU`RE COMPLETELY RIGHT ROSE! I LIKED THE PART IN CHICH YOU SAID THAT THE TEACHER NOT ONLY WORKS WITH STUDENT`S MIND BUT ALSO WITH THE STUDENT`S SOUL. THAT`S TRUE...
ResponderEliminarIF ALL THE TEACHERS THOUGHT IN THAT WAY, THE TEACHING-LEARNING PROCESS WOULD BE SO MUCH BETTER.
talking about our education, i think thatt in El Salvador there is a big problem, and it is that the majority of the teachers are not interested in student´s learning but in how much they are earning. it is very important to work in order to students to learn.
